Dear Beloved Church Family,

I trust you heard Pastor John Schaffer’s fine exposition of Psalm 19-part#2 this morning in which he dealt with the benefits of the written Word of God. I sure appreciated John’s clear explanations and conclusion with pointed applications. If you did not get a chance to hear his message, let me encourage you to go back and take a careful listen with a goal of improving your own reading of God’s Word!

We were told that Bible reading among professing Christians decreased during the COVID lockdown. You’d think the opposite would be true! I believe that we are living in a day when the Bible is more available than ever before. We have so many good translations. Most of us have many copies of the Bible, including several very helpful study Bibles.

Let’s take James 1:22 to heart – when it comes to Pastor John’s exhortations this morning, and witness first hand the difference it will make!
